Westside Terrace and Rehab First is presently seeking PRN RNs ARE YOU FLEXIBLE? WE ARE! Training/Experience Required: a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Nursing Supervisor, or Charge Nurse; as well as a minimum of 2 years' clinical experience; actively engaged in direct patient care/management a minimum of 2 years, recently; graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, and licensed as a R.N. in the State of AL; and, in possession of active CPR Certification. Major Functions: verifies facility staffing w/staffing coordinator, daily, upon arrival; completes multiple Rounds on all neighborhoods; monitors nursing staff performance, daily (including Annual Performance Appraisals;) assesses residents/patients with changes of status, or any incident occurrence, reported by Nurses, or C.NAs; completes R.N. Admission Assessments, as needed; interprets facility policies and regulations; intervenes in emergency situations that may occur; ensures the maintenance of a safe environment arranges to cover staff call-outs for 11PM-7AM, 7 AM-3 PM and 3 PM-11 PM shifts, called in during duty time; speaks with residents/families, as needed; and, serves as a role model, by being professional in dress, comportment and demeanor, at all times.
