Must be able to commute to Millington, Maryland daily as this position is in office. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits. Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock. Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages. Organization and Layout Optimize stockroom layout for efficient storage and retrieval of materials. Implement and maintain a systematic organization system to streamline processes. Ensure proper labeling and identification of all items in the stockroom. Quality Control Inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy. Collaborate with the quality control team to address and resolve any discrepancies. Implement and enforce quality standards for stockroom processes. Communication Collaborate with other departments, such as production and procurement, to ensure seamless material flow. Communicate effectively with team members, addressing any concerns or issues promptly. Report on stockroom metrics and performance to management. Safety Compliance Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Conduct regular safety training sessions for stockroom associates. Investigate and report any safety incidents, implementing corrective actions. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or inventory management is a plus. Proven experience in stockroom or warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Familiarity with inventory management software. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
